    Original Project Scope:

World Embrace is a ministry born out of a desire to see the Body of Christ come together in unity to transform their communities and their nations in fulfillment of the prayer of Jesus. World Embrace has been active in Uganda since 2014 where they currently run a Ministry Centre for Christian and community leaders.

Now, World Embrace is opening a multi-purpose facility in Gulu called the Champion Center. This facility will incorporate a playground and daycare, medical clinic, water tower, ministry auditorium, art center, soccer fields, volleyball courts, basketball courts, and the world’s largest grass hut!

The Champion Center will be a gathering place for children and youth, with a capacity for 1,000 people. The Champion Centre will particularly aim to help those who are recovering from the impacts of the Lord’s Resistance Army which kidnapped over 66,000 children who were forced to serve as child soldiers. Through game and sports therapy and ministry of the gospel, children and youth may begin down the long path of recovery from the trauma which they have experienced at the hands of the LRA.

World Embrace is seeking help with the complete design and masterplan of this entire project which will be built on unused land. Will you help us to master plan this 25 acre site and bring the vision of the Champion Center to life?

    approximately $2,500 - $3,000 USD
